Eagle spanners

anyone have thoughts on the old eagle spanners, I have a set of whitworth open end spanners, does anyone know where and when they were made?

More seriously it could have been this company in Wolverhampton. It does have them as an 'edge tool' company but they might have diversified into forging iron spanners.
