Been reading about the Renault e-tech hybrid system (been around a while but never got my attention until now!)...at first I thought I had mis-read the article...my first thought was how on earth can a gearbox work without a convention clutch!
I can see how they could do without a synchromesh...we've all been there I'm sure!
Seems like quite a clever design....well until a sensor fails and the dog clutch smashes together at 5k rpm of course
