dvds and books

Does anyone have any experience of dvds on mig welding that would be very helpfull for a beginer or even books, have been looking at the ones in the frost catalogue there seem to be 2 covering just mig but as they are quite expensive £25 for the ron covell one £33 for the other mig welding one i wanted to know if anyone has any experience of these, thanks for any info.

I've not seen the Covell MIG one: the Covell TIG one I like. Lots of stuff on the peer2peer networks -- Shareaza/eMule/aMule/Limewire, etc.

havnt used any books or dvds but found the tutorials here great and there is vids to go with it.

I too have found the tutorials, videos & forum community amazingly helpful.

I did borrow a Haynes welding book from the Library, but ended up buying "Farm & Workshop Welding by Andrew Price. £20. It was first published in 1992 though & has been re-published in 2007. But cover MMA, MIG, Cutting incl. Plasma, Oxy,Soldering & Brazing, Blacksmithing & even Plastic! It's very practical too.
