Not sure if they have the same system as in qatar. If you want to start a company there you need a qatarian as partner, if you dont know one they supply you with one.

Same in Saudi. We used to have a Saudi sponsor who would oil various wheels, sort out paperwork, bribe Customs officials (yes, really!), whatever it took. Well, what it took was 6% of our profits...

Saudi is another country that has more foreigners than natives; there's a social hierarchy with the Al Saud at the top, Americans, Brits, Irish and Aussies next, then (educated) Indians/ Pakistanis, then Filipinos, right down to the Bangladeshi who water the plants, sweep the streets and clean the toilets.

The climate is hellish, the air is disgusting in the cities.
