Had a slightly stringy petg print yesterday with it at 16% RH in the AMS. Not a massive problem but it was enough to trigger Bambu's freshly updated "AI" stringy detection, which was a pain, print was paused an hour before I noticed it, and meant I didnt have time for a second planned print.
Good enough reason to dry it. Dessicant removed, set the AMS for two hours at 65c.
For dessicant I have four spool center holders with molecular sieves. 3 front and one back "pods" and two between spool discs filled with silica gel.
Quite a bit of dessicant. That went in convection oven at 180c, stired/mixed every 10 mins for an hour.
At 16% RH, the dessicant was barely started, but you could feel the humidity coming off it!
Mostly from the sieves.
Anyway, refilled the containers, 12 hours later..
That will do for a couple months or until I use up the spools.
