Random one I guess. Does anyone know how to copy files that appear to be hosted on one drive and then shared with me. I dont wish to download them to my hard drives or save them in One drive but to transfer them direct to drop box.
Every time I try it wants to make a great big Zip file for me to download.

problem is I am often on my phone broadband and not only are they megga large It eats twice the data allocation once down and once back up.

I have just moved several gigs from OneDrive to Dropbox, not one byte was downloaded to my laptop

I have long suspected I have not had all the space I pay for lol

Its all rather weird. I seem to have 100gb on both accounts. Only have two accounts as we have my wifes phone that we take to the Caravan (vodafone does not work there)
however it seems I am paying 1.59 for the same amount of storage BUT not the same tools etc as you said. Its a bit stupid not publishing that!

The way this last week has gone I need to open the damn beer. Frustrating to say the least.
Now I appear to have another issue BUT it might be the same problem........by that I mean I "think" the account I paid for was a different email to the one that has the files from the purchase I made shared to it.
BUT...when I click the link from my purchase I get shared files showing in one drive.
When I access my one drive using my microsoft login I cant see those shared files.
However searching around and even paying directly for a microsoft one drive account (that incidently says its now the basic office 365 ....

SO...is google one drive actually Microsoft one drive or are they different account and places in the cloud.

I think I have found the answer. They are indeed two different products.
That means there is only one of my accounts that sees the shared files from the product I purchased.

So it really looks like I need a product that will indeed copy from cloud storage locations but how do I find one I can trust. I don't think Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (formally Acronis true image) will actually do what I need.

Anyone use cloud transfer programs and can recommend one.
