Recently I seem to have seen loads of cars driving about with no back lights on but fronts lit up, do the newer cars that have driving lights perrmanently on only light up the fronts?
Did like that with my 850 . You could turn the light knob fully anticlockwise to turn off but leaving them fully on they would shut off with the engine. The old Volvos had front & rear lights on during the day.
Yep and the number of Volvos I see parked up with the side lights on .... there’s no buzzer to tell you. I guess they figured you did it intentionally. But switching to side lights is the only way to turn the main headlights off.Turning to sidelights they would remain on with keys out for parking light.
My 1997 850 t5 had 3 positions. Off side and on.Yep and the number of Volvos I see parked up with the side lights on .... there’s no buzzer to tell you. I guess they figured you did it intentionally. But switching to side lights is the only way to turn the main headlights off.
Some Of them are so bright some people obviously think they have there headlights on . Not helped by newer cars having the dash illuminated when the ignition is on .
