drive cleaning

not welding related im sorry, i think ive got it in the right talk section anyway, so here goes, for cleaning drives i usually use the pressure washer with the streight jet attatchment on it, not the spinny ones, and i get good results with it, but i notice at aldi that their selling a revolutionary new circle patio drive cleaner add on thing http://aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/offers_week15sunday09.htm
so will it be any good?, quicker and better that with the lance?, probbably not but i thought id check here first to see if anyones got one before i go out and buy one, cheers in advance.....

bought a pressure washer this morning RAC from Homebase £59.99, used it for ten minutes and it sprung a leak inside and wouldnt shut off , returned it and got another , worked well on the drive but blasts the sand out of the joints ,the patio cleaner looks interesting !!

Then I have one, and it's so much easier, less messy than just the jet.
It fits my Karcher, and at half the price of the Karcher, a bargain.

Worth using and then normal jet for stubborn bits.

Just bought one this morning - a lot less mess for sure! Works well but for very suben muck (ie 5 years 8 years worth of moss/algie) I still had to use my blaster nozzle that I got with the Karcher.

I know for a fack that the Aldi pressure washers (or at least certain types) are Karcher. I bloke at work broke his under warrenty. He phone the helpline & was given directins to a local repairer in the town. The repirer told him the internals are Karcher and promptly fixit FOC.

So for £30 and 3 years piece of mind I ok with that!

forgot about this thread, anyway, i got one and have used it several times, its good for not getting soaking, but i have to use the normal jet anyway to clean up the mess it leaves and get the moss out between the joints,
so perhaps not the best for me, if its just for your garden patio or whatever its good for a once over every month or so but for a mossy sandy heavily used driveway, then your best to just use the standard jet and rotary nozzle, the patio cleaner thing gets clogged easily and doesnt work well in puddles!

but thats just my view!...
