Hi,
This is my first post here, and I'd like to thank all of you for the wealth of information you're constantly adding to the forum. It's really helpful!
Now I have a problem for which I couldn't find a solution. I own an old Metabo corded drill. I love it, but it's making a grinding noise when I'm pushing it against the work. The stronger I push, the noisier it gets.
I'm not even sure if it just started doing it (one doesn't hear it while drilling wood, only steel) or if I'm becoming more conscientious, but it certainly doesn't sound normal. It's becoming annoying even with my earmuffs on!
Also, it doesn't seem to affect the performances of the drill.
I'm suspecting the bearing is wearing out, but this is only a wild guess.
Thanks in advance!
