sounds like the bearing is getting dry at the tool end

dont think that it needs lubrication other people are getting this problem as well im going to give it back to b and q

must just be heat sink from the work piece then...have you considerd a bigger machine like a die grinder??

i have no use for a die grinder its not a big problem the out put shaft on my dremel 3000 and i dont think that it has a heat sink

By heatsink I think Roofman means heat transferred from the workpiece. Does it get hot if you run it without any load on it?

yes it is getting hon with no load

Take it back, its likely the front bearing is shot but if you have a guarantee that is their problem not yours, dremels qc is crap.
The cordless ones dont even have a bearing supporting the rear of the shaft any more and now when the spindle wears loose you have to replace the entire motor assembly which I had two of under the warantee period. The wired ones are more reliable but they suffer from poor cooling if you have big mitts and melt themselves.

its not rearly a problem if it when it brakes il just return it to bq i dont use it that much
