sounds like the bearing is getting dry at the tool endcan someone help me the output shaft on my dremel gets very hot when i use it
must just be heat sink from the work piece then...have you considerd a bigger machine like a die grinder??dont think that it needs lubrication other people are getting this problem as well im going to give it back to b and q

yes it is getting hon with no loadBy heatsink I think Roofman means heat transferred from the workpiece. Does it get hot if you run it without any load on it?
noIs the shaft spinning in the collet perhaps?
