What works good for me might not work for you. I like the junky off brand wires that everyone else hates because i can make them work well...Bob

Just saw this wire in amazon and thought to purchase for some Tig work that all!

I doubt if the draper wire is the best of the bunch, in all honesty.
Also, if this is for tig work, normal lengths of filler rod would probably be easier than trying to twist lengths of mig wire into usable pieces.

CJ to be honest the idea came from TigPaul somewhere in the forum that he suggested the mig wire as you can found it in 0.8 mm so you can achieve cleaner weld 
.
Anyway the matter for my question was if it worth to purchase and try that all try.

I think it was one of those things you can do "at a pinch", - if you need a bit of stainless filler rod, (and you only have mild) you can twist up some lengths of mig wire with a drill, to get you by, for now.

Thats a very expansive question. It would depend on budget, what you wanted to do with it, how long you're keeping it, whether you want one to "get you by", just for the odd occasion, or for daily use, what kind of amp range do you need, (a very low minimum setting, for example). Does it need to be portable, have a decent duty cycle, what kind of supply would it be running from - loads of other things I've missed, too.
You'd need to give a bit more info, to get a reasonable answer, I think. But all the usual, well known brands make good machines.

CJ Draper Mig wire stated that actual provided by SIP, as Draper not really do this kind of things.Even big companies that make welders not actually manufacture this stuff.Usually China import with Draper,Sealey Brand on them!I am sure you know all that!
I own some 6013 welding rods from them and I have to say really please for their price!
Well as I said it was just a thought if something pop in ebay for bargain price I will go for it because of the 0.8 mm .
And yes Tigpaul never mistaken

Yeah, I realise there's lots of re-branding going on! And Draper don't make mig wire, themselves.
And, you're better off than me, then - I've only got stainless tig filler, but can't use it for mig, but if I was really astute, I'd have just the mig wire, as you can use it for both mig & tig, making it twice as versatile.
Joking apart though, I'd not go out of my way to use the filler designed for another process, as it's quite easy to get hold of the correct thing. Also, it's not always that simple, you wouldn't choose to use gas filler rods in place of tig ones, as they're not quite the same, or just not "triple de-oxidised".
In fact, without having already got a mig, I'd not worry too much about getting hold of any type of mig wire, but if I did, I'd definitely not be hunting Draper wire down, specifically!

When you wanted info on cable types/sizes for your footpedal I went to the trouble of researching (using google) the info you requested and have done similar for some of your other questions. I was just suggesting you did the same before posting a what/how etc. question.

Well there wasn't any info about the Draper mig wire except the fact that it was made from SIP that I posted Robotstar5 ! I do remember about the footpedal and even this project haven't be solved yet,honestly I really thank you about that!!!
I get upset more about the way of pedrobedro not with yours !
