I don't metalwork as my day to day profession, but my plasma has come in really useful since I bought it.
Granted as it is a Hypertherm it wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for and this is a top quality piece of kit.
Really satisfying to slice thought sheets in a straight line quickly and easily compared to an angle grinder.
BTW what do you make the dragonfly sculptures from, is it just mild steel rod and spray coated ?

I was looking to make one, I have some plans but its not a straight forward box hearth so I've been looking for one of decent quality on flea bay. I'm not in a rush at the moment I have a gas forge which does enough for now.
