You're lucky, costs me 12 quid to make sure I am not looking out on a wing, you will always get a good seat with a view.If that scares you, you should come and sit in my seat.....![]()

Ok, no one likes a show offMine's 30mm plate, and 7m x 3m.
Got a nasty bend in it now and really worn in the bottom left corner - been eying up some bed plates but they are daft money
.
. How on earth did you bend it?
Shame cos it was a nice flat piece of plate. My welding bench is 3mm long and made from 3mm plate.
bet you cant fit much on that size bench huh ?
LOL
anyway if you cant afford 6mm or bigger plate.
try find some 40mm worktop ? and line it with some 3mm you got for the time being.
i remember a while back i put an wanted ad in local paper for old kitchen wall units and worktop.
got a phonecall from someone who was having new kitchen
and said i was welcome to come and take what every units and worktop i wanted. first come etc.

i think tornado was refering to your table only being 3mm long shiny....... typo in your post perhaps...![]()

Just increase the bracing underneath it. My welding bench is 3mm long and made from 3mm plate.
