hi Chris, my personal choice is to go for cobalt drills, i have a set of dormer cobalt drills and they last well so long as you keep the speed down, ive drilled stainless with them as well. not sure what code they are though, A7 something or other, i'll check.
, and im awayWe only use Guhring tooling at work and have a set of these with each bench drill

Seem a good set and I did 60 8mm holes in 316 8mm plate yesterday and looked as good as when I started. We use a mixture of stuff in bigger sizes on the lathes and mills
