Door frame

I need to fit a new F/L/B external door at me old fella's place. The door is easy enough to source, but which frame do i need to go for?

A lining is no good as it will end up thicker than the single skin brick it sits within, I just need a simple frame, without cill. A softwood one would be ok.

Am i being thick?...

knock ur own up from some non descript hard wood......
doesn't need fancy joints, (2x 6" screws in end garain will do)
after all the screws that hold it to the wall stiffen it up....

cant u fit a plaggy one. you can pick some real good second hand ones for 70. quid easy to fit
