I must say, telling all on the internet days after it happens is a bit weird. Or is that the world we live in these days?

Probably quite normal I reckon, if your life's not in danger then there's good bragging rights to be had.

Saw a clip on tv a few months ago of a young lad who came off a dirt bike and had a stick pierce his neck. Straight through, in and out.
It looked awful but obviously can't have been that horrendous as he made sure he got home and got all his mates to come and see it before they rushed him off to hospital.
