I've got three blue Bosch 18V power tools (drill-driver, palm sander and more recently angle grinder) and a couple of their 'CoolPack' batteries... so I've bought into the system.

Fancy getting an impact driver so have found their GDS 18C-EC listed as being available, "%refurbished", for £111.49 on their website:

However, they don't sell it directly themselves - they only link to several online places. I've looked at them all and none of them offer it at that price... that's a not inconsiderable saving to be had.

Can't find an email address for them, only a phone number - fancy emailing them about this.

They do sell directly, that item is not currently in stock as refurbished,

When they are back in stock you can add to basket and check out as normal.

They won't get involved with any pricing that dealers set, although dealers don't get sent the reconditioned stuff much anyway so the "buy from a partner " link will normally only take you to a brand new version of the same tool.

For what it's worth, I've got one and it's a great bit of kit.

The discount on refurbished kit isn't as much as it looks, as dealers sell at less than list price anyway.

Good to hear that you are happy with yours and would recommend it. In all practicality I don't need the 250Nm it offers so it'd be overkill for my needs so I may just go for this at half the price:

If you only want it as a nut runner, I might recommend the GDX.

The GDS doesn't take any prisoners. I've mainly used it for M12 fixings and it doesn't show any signs of struggling. About 3 seconds of impact has them close to the correct value. I went round with a torque wrench for the final tightening.
