I was tightning the hose pipe tap and some water went on my hand this evening(00:20)-started to walk back and my hand started to slightly sting-ignored it thought it must be a splinter-started to get worse-still ignoring it.Got back in-looked at my filters-White blisters???= FROSTBITE or it's lesser known and obviously not as nasty cousin Frost Nip

warmed up and 1 hour later still stinging!

i had no choice pal i work as a comercial valater for 3 1/2 years on the wash outside in winter when its below freezin is no fun but you get used to it

gloves, gloves, gloves, gloves. Always wear mine, had too much frost bite from rerigerent gas and it aint pleasant, far more painful than a hot burn IMO. Trouble is trying to find a decent pair of gloves that still let you work and keep some dexterrity but are waterproof and cosy. I think if you could come up with that design you would be a milionaire. Keep the hands cosy, but not too hot.
