I have to make new clothes poles for Madam. Right I have plenty new scaffy pole so will etch prime paint, put the cross on top and bottom etc and concrete in. Where would I get nice weld on caps for the top of pole.......or any ideas to make nice ones?

A place that sells fence supplies will have tops for posts. Will probably be galvanized though.

Or why not get in the good-books by fitting a nice sphere or acorn from someone like dciron or artistic iron supplies

Lexi, the steel spheres idea above is a nice, easy, cheap jobbie. Have you got a Brundles in Glasgow (or any other gate bit supplier)?

Never thought of them spheres.........that`s the job! Why is washing so important anyway?..............oh!...... and curtains....and vases with flowers!!.......everywhere!
