ok as for the frame I have a pic below showing what ive got in mind. it is using 50 x 50 angle but for the sides I have used it in the centre for bracing. I plan on using galvanised sheeting and riveting it on. this is why I need the angle in the centres of the sides for something to rivet to. the problem I now have is that I wont be able to get the wood inside for the floor. has anybody any suggestions for a way round this please

leave one of the center bars out and slide the floor in diaganaly in to place then weld the bar in otherwise its a 2 piece job

If I was you I would buy that dog trailer on gumtree, a set of wheels and mudguards are gonna cost you £50, the suspension and stub units are a good £75, Ball hitch, light board and wires etc your looking at another £40, the steel is gonna cost you £40 for the frame and then the sheeting and some sort of flooring. You then have the £75 vosa sva test, so thats £280.
You will have a good quality trailer, you wont get pulled every 50 miles by the old bill and you can sell it when you are finished. Best of all you know your dogs are going to be in safe hands, after all they are part of the family (unless your a puppy farmer or course !!!!) I know I would want my dog to be safe, that trailer is only half what I paid for our dog....

simple use flat bar for the middle sections but welded to the edge of the angle
