But no-one does. Everyone is scared to say anything because they know the entitled folk will kick off, moan on FB, bad mouth the business etc.

oh i say something as im not having it
but as a parent theres not much you can do in an open area cameras are deadly
i didnt have to do this but most parents can get down on one knee and say if you continue to scream like that im going to give you something to cry for
and if they continue they got exactly that ( a smack )
do that in the open and you can get locked up for it as well as charged for doing so

Retractable awning?
It is illegal to smack a child in Wales - has been for years.
Kids too young to reason with are plenty smart enough to catch on that they are basically Teflon - with predictable outcomes (like the Banshee yesterday).
I have one of them around the mrs's spa to save building a stone wall for now. A dog would just go under it midway where its most flexible in the middle as it pays out, indeed ours does when he can't be bothered walking round and wants to get in the garden proper quick.
