The air bubble car covers use axial fans and produce enough flow and pressure to keep the bubble inflated and they are quite small fans http://www.carcapsule.co.uk/
I was shocked at how quickly they inflate the heavy canopy and keep it taught.
the ones we use have two small fans that is enough to inflate the bubble and when inflated you can open the vent to allow even more air flow.
