Do I go for the Bambu P2S?

Currently have a Sidewinder X1 which has been alright, the print quality isn't amazing though. Got a few bits that I'd like to do with higher quality. My neighbour has a P1S and has had some fantastic results, he's not had to mess around with settings in teh slicer either which is quite attractive.
Looking at the P2S you get quite a bit more on top of the P1S, currently £699 with the AMS pro which which is also a filament drier which is handy.

Is Bambu really as good as it seems or is it mostly hype?

I have a P1S and wouldn't part with it. It wasn't my first printer but I am a fan now. 2000 hours of printing with one nozzle change.
I will get a P2S to keep it company later this year.....
