Do I get a watercooler?

Hi guys..

Need an advice here...I'm in the process of finalizing a transaction to buy an Everlast PowerPro256. Price is just about right for me but this will cost a hell lot more with shipping.
Since this is my first Tig, I would like to ask if I should get a water cooler with it or whether I shouldn't bother.
The main reason is that If I buy the Tig and Watercooler together in one purchase, shipping will be wee bit more but definately cheaper now then 2 seperate shipments for two seperate units.
Is it reallt worth the extra cost? It will also influence the choice of Tig torch.
Anyone out there has the same Everlast and could give sound advice based on experience pls?

Personally i'd say water coolers are worth their weight in gold with TIG if doing much in the way of aluminium. You can have a tiny torch which can cope with high amperage AC while remaining comfortable to hold instead of a big clunky torch that gets uncomfortably hot and won't fit into tight spots. Not gonna pay for the cooler anytime soon but as an added bonus you need far less post flow time for a given amperage as the tungsten cools down much faster. The cooler running torch also means collets etc have an easier life

I've no direct experience but would suggest researching Everlast CAREFULLY before spending any money. Along with another importer of cheapnese machines they're infamous on weldingweb... people complaining about broken / DOA machines etc constantly and then they both sponsered the forum and got their own sections with moderation rights. All the complaints then started to get (allegedly) deleted ...
Everlast terms... http://www.everlastwelders.ca/terms.php/ Google spat out the Canadian site first when i searched for warranty returns shipping, note the second paragraph they only pay shipping for domestic customers for 30 days, after that customer is responsible for carriage and HANDLING costs BOTH ways! That alone would be reason enough for me to avoid with a barge pole personally and based on what i've read i wouldn't urinate on the company owner (either brand) if they were on fire
