DNA testing ???

Ok this is a shock for me, after 16 years my son has been in touch, i don thave the time to go into details as it is a long very long story but he contacted me now, after i found out also 16 years ago in court one of my 7 year old daughters was not mine my sons mother said to him the i am not his father.

so he contacted me to ask for a DNA


Is there a reliable DNA test we can do without meeting each other ?

Sorry, he is asking for one but i want to know a good one as he wants to meet up and arrange one and after what happend in the past i dont want to yet.

I got that. Tell him how you want it to proceed and leave it to him to arrange. If you don’t like the look of it, say no. Your GP will be able to advise how accurate a specific test might be.

I was contacted by a lady 14 years ago, Saying that she thought I was her husbands father, She was correct!!. My new son was 44 yrs at the time, We met up, and he couldn't be more like me in thoughts and manner despite never have met him before, We see each other regularly and get on absolutely great, He had been adopted by a farmer, Led a really good life and can turn his hand to anything, really pleased to have extra members to the family, He also gets on really well with my other two children, The adopting farmer and his wife are both now dead, but they adopted four children, Three boys and a girl, and she is now a barrister, Not sure about the other two, Although they were all sent to private school. Sorry to hi-jack the thread, but getting a new "son" can often be a good thing,

You know what this life of mine has more than i like to say.

BUT god it was good to hear from him and i have not seen him since he was nine when his mum disappeared with our kids. Hr is 25 now and i was so dam shall i say happy as grown men dont cry lol, He is still fishing just as i took him when we had times together. he is so messed up poor lad. Just wish my daughter would come around aswell to what has gone by.

You can buy paternity kits online cost about £100. My cousin did an ancestry DNA test. It seems he and I are descended from the dukes of Ormond.
My wife wanted me to do one but in the past I was a naughty boy and I don't want anyone knocking on my door saying your my dad. I don't think my wife would be pleased.
