Hello everybody,
Needed some dissimilar rods in work the other day, but could not remember the spec I had used prevoiusly with success. Searched at home and found an old rod stub. It has a blue eggshell colour flux and has 312-16 or 18 on it. I also remember some time ago using dissimilar rods with a green flux. I understand that 308,309/L,312 and 316 are primeraly stainless rods.
Can anybody identify the above, and which would be the best for gp welding of dissimilar metals. What OCV should these rods be burnt on ?
