Disposable gas compatability

Hi

Does anyone know if the sips disposable gas cylinders that halfrauds sell are compatable with a Clarke 151 te mig welder ?

Do you mean as in value wise or the gas delivery doesn't work as well ?

both for the amount of gas in them they are expensive for all but a one of job. you will lo need to turn the flow up to max to give a decent shield. welcome to the forum .

these a spreadsheet at the top of the page that shows the approx cost but its a couple of years old now

gas is just gas whether its in a sip, clarke or whatever bottle, the regulators for disposable fit all disposables and usually have a quick connector for the thin gas pipe.

but all are a waste of money go for the clarke co2 with 75% free type thing as its slightly better VFM.

better off with a refillable

I will go for a refillable when I get the money together. The mig welder took most of my funds so will try a disposable for now to practice a little bit. Just wanted to make sure I will be getting the right one.

Get your gas from machine Mart, it's £3.80 cheaper for the same size!
