Yes, get it reported. Always forward scam texts to 7726 & scam emails to report@phisphing.gov.uk (GCHQ linked) its the only way to get back at these pond scum.

It is all too easy to get suckered by these scumbags. Mother in law is 90 has mild dementia & extremely forgetful & it is an unpleasantly common occurence for her to get phone calls trying to suck her into a scam. Earlier in the year we had three in a two month period, one claiming to be from her bank, one claiming to be microsoft & another. Despite us having full poa & taking all her bank cards & cheque books away over a year ago she still managed to find an old bank statement she had squirreled away & gave them the account details from that. The scammers tried to take £750 on two occasions, fortunately the bank stopped it.
We have told her over & over dont talk to them but she is far too trusting.

I’ve sent dozens to them, (the corrected address) and dozens of the text scams to 7726.
Scumbag scammers, preying on the naive and uninformed.
The ones that annoy me are the phone calls from 0843...... numbers, slightly different number each time, rings once, then stops. I called back a couple of times when they first started, and get some stupid message about ‘you have just missed a call from.....’.
I keep meaning to pop into the EE shop to see if I can block that prefix #.

We blocked them all by unplugging the phone

If you’re using an Iphone you can block them on the phone, save number to contacts & at bottom is an option to block caller RonA

I've had a few via Facebook marketplace. I've got a kids push bike on there and multiple times I get messages saying they will send a chronopost courier with cash then I send it with them once agreed. It's only a 40 quid bike so no one would send a French courier for it!
No doubt they are after personal details. Annoying thing is there is no option to report them on messenger.

That's the problem. I can't see the number they are using. Vodafone ask me to send the number but I can't find it.

I'm permanently banned from MSN owned ( ?) websites such as Twatter , Faceache & Disgust , evidently I'm supposed to have spammed a woke twonk hiding behind the name of Fuzzy bear on Disgust .
Funny thing is I never had any problems till June 2020 when the twonk started spouting " Wokesqueak " like they were from Uranus .
I wouldn't even begin to know how to spam any one let alone do it.
My antivirus says I'm clean but a gardening site address I use has been corrupted , despite me thinking I've totally removed all placed i miht be sstored in my computer , every time I try to log into it the site addy starts www.aaaaabbbbbbcccccooooo etc etc.
My computer is going in for a full warranteed paid for disinfection in Feb .
Is there any way you can claim you've been spammed by the courier ?

That IS on my mobile.We blocked them all by unplugging the phone
I had a landline phone for two weeks, only one person had my number, yet within days I was getting scam calls. It’s sat in the bottom of the junk cupboard now, only plugged in on the rare occasion I need a landline.

It’s a bogus number, different last six digits each time, I have blocked dozens.

My 89year old sister that has been bedbound for nearly two years go one of the "covid passport" scam messages, But she did realise it was not genuine and ignored it.
