Wifey phoned me in a panic earlier, she was doing a hill start in her manual D2 and it stalled and rolled back slightly.
She restarted it and the gearbox was stuck in first with the gear lever jammed solid and the high/low range selector was also jammed.
I turned up, attempted to drive it and I'm pretty sure the rear wheels were also locked up as I could hear and feel them skidding. I tried again and everything suddenly became free.
The AA chap turned up very promptly and followed me home and the gearbox never missed a beat.
I'm flummoxed as to what could have happened? She's now very worried to drive it, especially as she tows with it but I ran up and down through all the gears and it felt completely normal.
Anyone shed any light on what may have happened? It's certainly like nothing else I've ever come across.
