Dirt-Cheap Poly Tunnel Greenhouse

I have a cheap polytunnel, you are supposed to bury the bottom edges or weigh them down plus anchor the frame.
I struggled as theres not enough spare polysheet to bury, I weighted it down with bricks and zipped tied the vertical poles to battens that I hammered into the ground.
The frame is push fit poles that if you tighten properly they pinch in,thinnest metal they could get away with.
Its doing its job ,luckily in a sheltered area but we are on the coast and it gets windy..I can't get it as tight as it should be. Main worry is it taking off and doing damage.

That looks like the slightly ramshackler hidey hole I could hang in on a winter's day . I was thinking of getting clear plastic - wonder why you went with green? My dad used to put whitewash on his in extremely hot weather.

It was a surprise birthday gift..
It's clear but with green mesh reinforcing.
I'll probably chuck a tarpl like cover over it through winter that I can strap down better.
The neihbour has lost one already, it would either collapse, flap about and rip or take off.

On my old allotment they usually took the plastic off over the winter...it was a windy site though.
