Good stuff on a clean car....don't be fooling yourself it will restore a half rotten banger..for external scabs you beat manually cleaning it and brush on some epoxy
I did my Defender last year with Noxudol, had good reviews and reasonable price. I have used Dinitrol in the past, this stuff had better reviews and was cheaper.
To be honest I knew the Disco would need welding at some point, it is a 15 year old Land Rover.
I've just spotted a few areas, like the foam surrounds on the horns that were sponge like when I pulled them out, and its only surface rust that I want to treat, the inner wings need some proper welding, to be tackled soon.
@slim_boy_fat That looks good stuff, see If I can get to £60 to qualify for the free postage
A lot of factors are involved with older cars, Where they are stored and how they were restored can have a big effect on how they hold up, My mate has an old mini and it was restored 7 years back and as he is doing it again now you can see where the cavity wax failed to get and how moisture got to bizarre places, This time he is doing it himself and making more effort than the last monkey, On the moggies i like to get as much weld thru primer into places that will never be seen again and then white spirit and cavity type wax mixes into voids after.
