Gents without creating a new thread I currently have a subframe that I have wire wheeled and rust treated.
I have both some lechlar epoxy primer and some dinitrol.
Am I best to spray the epoxy then the dinitrol after as a protection layer or will the dinitrol suffice on its own to bare metal?
Thanks,
Anton
Due to PPE requirements, I brush the epoxy. Then Dinitrol on top. Do the Dinitrol cavity wax to the inside, but do not do the hard wax underbody until after you have installed the subframe - or at least assembled it. The hard wax never fully 'sets' which whilst part of its good performance makes handling the subframe horrible! Our tame MoT tester has learned to be careful under older cars from my family. Dinitrol wax sticks to hair very well!
