So the batteries, there cheap to replace, bt is theer a problem wiht them loosing battery power then ? do they need recalibrating again. ?u

Generally they are working all the time the off switch just turns the display off. For home use I like the Wixey ones big display, helps the old eyes out, and they run on lithium batteries last much longer.
