I was watching a talk about AI on utube...apparently if you speak to an AI for 3 seconds it can now mimic your voice.

Latest scam is to use a voice mimic to fool friends/relatives...when will it end!

Am I the only one who finds this all a bit unsettling . Next will be the need for passwords before any phone conversation .Thinks !! now I understand text's nobody actually speaks to anyone any more .

Had a interesting one this week, done a IPAF course recently and they no longer give you a physical card, instead I have a app with my digital card and certificates on there instead, i guess it’s a lot more sustainable ăn got it within a few days but means all my info is on their data storage and how well are the equip for data theft???

Having physical id I feel will soon be a thing of the past ie birth certificates an even passports at some point, just it’s gotta be done right as it’s a lot of information at people finger tips and it’s bad enough as it is now……… I guess time shall tell and I’ll be probably look back in 20+ years maybe laughing that I have a paper certificate for things

Either that or the whole thing will be so corrupted that it will be back to physical proof.

It's very scary...big changes are coming and a lot quicker than most people realise.

It's like the movie "Forbidden Planet"...we have little idea or control over what these things can enable.

Aliens and flat earth. Dear god.
I sometimes watch that ancient aliens programme on a Sunday for the comedic value of obsurdity. "The Man from del monty says yes"...that must be legible then.
There might be some living fungus or something. Little Green men and floating saucers.... Nah! They all off their rocker all these abductees.
Going to check out that forbidden planet film. Don't think I've seen that one.
Regarding Ai, anyone remember that film electric dreams?

I think it's going to screw the world up big time. Everyone will be going dolally talking to machines.

Going to check out that forbidden planet film.

Classic sci-fi movie...has to be viewed within context of course but had some interesting ideas as I recall....got to be 30+ years since I've watched it though.
