As well as a ram I was considering a tractor top link bar as its adjustable for length.
My digger is piped for a breaker & a grab I think.
Its like that on both sides. I know the block is a manual valve but I dont know if it is one or the other only or has a both setting.

Bumping an old post on another thread to this new one.
I am now getting round to plumbing in a hydraulic motor to the dipper on my digger (its a fence post auger/motor).
The pic above shows a large pipe & fitting. There is only one of those & it is under pressure all the time even with no levers pulled/pushed. Not sure what thats for.
The other two fittings are repeated on the other side. I am needing a feed & return. I am guessing that I can get both from one side & if I need to reverse the motor I can move the pipes to the other side & run the motor backwards.
If I try to use the lever the motor will start to stall (due to no flow) If I move the switch on the box on the arm it does the same (but I get flow from one of the ports if I crack it open) but also the bucket ram does the same.
Does anyone have the PDF manual for a Schaeff HR16?
Or can tell me exactly what each bit should do.
