Anyone got any advice/ experience with a Miller Big Blue 400 x or similar Lincoln, Mosa machine. it is to perform mobile repair jobs and power an off grid remote workshop. Thanks
I have used a mosa of around 300amps for a year or two ...it seemed to be ok, can't remember too much about it.
At work we have been using a lincoln ranger 305D for a couple of years....mostly use it for stick and a bit of 110v power...it's very nice and have used it to power a wire feeder once or twice.
Got 2 16a 110v sockets, 1 32a 240v, and a 3phase.
Pretty sure it can use different voltages at the same time, and is more than happy welding, powering a mag drill and a grinder at the same time.
Silenced model, so its not too noisey. Still glad when it gets turned off!
Hi Giys, just picked up your thread. I am looking to buy a Welder Generator, but cant find much info or recomendations on them. I was using a Mosa TS200 a while back on site and although noisey it worked very well. I would prefer diesel, but have also looked at the Mosa Magiweld petrol, but will that cut the mustard? Any infor or if you know of something for sale would be greatly appreciated.
I thought that too, and running on petrol??? But when I have a job in the back woods it would be ideal. I think the Mosa TS200 is about £3500, but I have seen them on ebay, for what looks like a good one for about grand. Always a difficult decission to make finantially. Millar do a smaller one than the big blue but it is not imported into Europe so their rep told me...cant remember whats its called? What about the Hatz 200 that is on ebay, any info on them..they have Italian alternators same as the Mosa?
