would have took it somewhere but my plant trailer is now behind 20 tons of road planings...lol , plus I'm skint as been on the sick myself and dealing with my dads cancer treatment , it was the last thing I needed right now

Dont understand that ?

Dont run it from now on with that fuel, drain it and fling it. Otherwise the next thing is the pump will be shot if it isnt already!
Start at the tank and clean that FIRST.
clean all pipe work through with an air line then new fuel red or white just CLEAN, new filter then bleed it through to pump, dumping loads of the new fuel out at the pump bleed that then cleans every thing thats left in injection pump out, only then, let fuel up to the injectors pipes, but dont connect them, let loads of fuel pump out of the open pipes, then connect them to injectors.
Otherwise you will be going round in circles.

cheers , I will have a go , just put a new filter in when I got the reconditioned injector back ,will that do or fling that as well. flavels is the company who reconditioned the injector

My friend cracked the pipe off on the injector that was reconditioned and problem stopped , tightened it an was back misfiring , same on every cylinder he tried it

has the return line got unblocked access to tank

run it off a gallon container of fresh fuel. sounds like return to tank restricted.

Will get my mate to check , drained diesel out today and will get some new ready for when he can squeeze me in ,took my small compressor over with airline ready for him to check

?? with injection pressure it would just blow the leak off hose off.

I am with normspanners, take of tank ,if it is rusty inside jam it in a cement mixer with old sofa sponges, then put a hand full of gravel in it and let the mixer runs,this de scales rust, but also if tank is rotten you will end up with a leaky siv !! obviously clean it out meticulously afterwards, then as NS said go through whole system.
you can get a resin type sealer for old tanks, no doubt some one on here knows the name.Arther
