Dial 1 for Customer Service, dial 2 for Sales...
My old TV packed up at the weekend. Not a cheap set, as I always try & buy quality, but hardly worth repairing... the Cathode Ray type - not worth a carrot.
So, I thought I'd bring myself up to speed with the latest techno gizzmos & get meself a Plasma Screen. Or would I be better with LCD??
Turned to the wonderful tinternet to do some research. Decided on the make & model I wanted & did a 'price runner' check. They can vary WIDELY, but in the end it came down to 4 or 5 recognised dealers that were literally within 10 or 20 quid of each other on a £1600 set! So, what did I decide?? I decided to pay another 100 quid with a specialist dealer who knew what they were on about & I could actually communicate first hand with a HUMAN & get things sorted.
It ain't always on price - SERVICE is the key; and I don't know about you but I'm SICK of "Dial 1 for..."
