That is awesome.
And I loved the Glowforge CEO - he has the rare gift that he can explain technical concepts in an easy-going, approachable manner. He could probably sell snow to Eskimos. Contrast his delivery with the terribly stunted interviewer - I actually laughed at one point where the laser guy had easily explained a concept and the interviewer went "...just to be clear, so the optics/blah/radial/centric/blah..." and managed to gobbledegook what the guy had perfectly explained.

500 Watt CO2 laser required to cut 3.2mm thick steel. 1000 watts required to cut 2.0mm aluminium. That machine is way off.
