Derusting a fuel tank ? Easy way

Phosphoric acid, swilled about in the tank then drained out. Pour in some petrol, swill that about to get rid of any remaining phosphoric and drain it out, job done.

i decided the ctric acid as i had some at home

and was right on the flash rusting i was drying it out for 20 mins after empying and looked in the tank and seen rust forming (it was clean after a day and a half with the acid)
so did a rush job and swiled it out with fuel and remounted it all looking great
