Deltec sockets, any thoughts?

Just bought a 14 piece set of impact sockets by Deltec, price seems reasonable £27 +vat.
They claim to be a British manufacturer but not sure what proportion of their stuff is made here.
Didn't have the time to shop around or wait for delivery so just got my fingers crossed that they're OK.
Anyone had any experience with their stuff?

never heard of them, I have a few cheap sets of Burgen impact sockets they have been used and abused for many years now cant fault them

I have a 32mm x1/2” drive one. I bought because they hadn’t got a teng one to exchange. It’s worked every day since before Christmas. About October/ November.

It’s not bad actually. It handles the Milwaukee impact alright. Usually the cheap ones get mushed around the anvil hole. This one has lasted. The only criticism I have is the coating is crap and it’s already rusty but I’m always out in salt and ****e and slime so if you’re in a workshop that probably isn’t an issue.

Reminds me. I must chase the teng one.

Use some made to order deltec gear (Allen headed flogging spanners) and they seem to put up with a decent amount of abuse, beaten with 14lb’ers mainly. Based off that limited exposure I’d have to rate them, we’ve broken lots of other gear over the years, these seem to have held up ok, no catastrophic failures which is important.

They are decent impact sockets. have replaced my broken, cheap impact sockets, with Deltec ones. 32mm, on Milwaukee impact, used for tractor wheelnuts, torqued to 500NM, almost daily, is 6 years old and still good.
