Delivery driver proof of delivery pictures.

I never had any issues until this last year or so - parcels from Royal Mail, couriers etc all left inside the front porch. Then they started being left on the step in full view of the road. So I printed a "Please leave inside the porch ^" sign and laminated it, placed it on the step . . . so now I come home to parcels on top of the sign . . .

I did complain to Amazon as parcels left on the step were recorded as "handed to resident" . . .

try a stop inside the flap to hold it open an inch or so - see if it makes it more obvious it's a flap - otherwise as has been said, it looks like a sign saying please leave on the floor just here . . .

If you are stood next to it it’s pretty obvious, there is also sign next to it that says press the buzzer if in doubt and wait. Most of these guys speak or read very little English.

I have had several delivered to other adresses and had to hunt around looking for the doorway/step to match the photo. Mostly royal mail.

think yourself lucky id rather have what youve had than a photo been taken of you and the address as thats data collection with a photo

ive actually refused parcels and sent them back due to this i dont mind cctv on vans and on the users as its 2 in one driver safety and parecel delivery as i also do the same with my own cctv

but photo no as thats proper data collection

Had a mad "delivery photo" a year or two back, it was simply a white(ish) blur, full screen.. If I had to guess I'd say it was an out of focus moving "image" of the roof inside the bloke's van or something. Definitely a wtf job...

Everyday on our town Facebook page they’re are people asking if anyone knows this person or this address. Delivery drivers appear to be putting parcels anywhere apart from the correct addresses

Probably they have to add a "picture" to whatever system it is, before it'll accept it as "delivered" on their list. literally anything that's an "image" from their phone or whatever they use is presumably good enough even if entirely irrelevant.
