Well if you want to nit-pic, what I should have typed is I don’t get issues when the temp is low even without the dehumidifier. The point being is we get warm westerlies blowing it in. When it’s cold the wind is dry, generally.I don’t get any issues in my workshop, even when the ambient temperature is low.
Well whoop de do to you.I was not ‘nit-picking‘ as you suggest. If you don’t write what you mean, and/or later claim it was different, then why should anyone believe you either way? Seems to me that you change direction just like the wind does.
One should only write the truth. I try to, all the time.

Had one of these a week or so now and it's pulled loads out of the air.We use a dehumidifier for drying clothes when then weather is naff. Even heavy towels are dried within 12 hours and the heat from it keeps the room warm.
Had a few second hand ones that have been used in the garage and never last long due to the dust and dirt. In the house for drying we bought one of these although it was much cheaper when we got it

Still had to sand the front door though.. Ended up costing me twice as much though as had to buy the daughter the same model..

wait until it has settled down, and then adjust the humidity so it just comes on. And leave it. we empty ours about every 10-14days

Cheers, I noticed it keeps running even when it's dropped below the set humidity, I've just turned it off then. It's when I've swapped from laundry mode to the other. Maybe I'm not letting it settle between changing modes.

If you have it set to low it will cycle forever.
Ive never liked the modes on any machine ive used. Much perfer to get the humidity down to where I want it. Then manually set it. Just keep checking to see its not full.
Keep the water, its good for the iron. (if you live in a hard water area)
Appartently is not good for Dogs, so dont let them drink it

It's set on 60, cycling between 58/59 but fan still on.. Temp 18,central heating stat showing 19 5 other end of the room, positioned a bit higher though.

I think my dogs have ingested a fair bit of lead and mercury somewhere along the line judging by their usual behaviour..

Yeah, I've just been playing around with it changed the setting up to 70,the sensor is showing 59/60 but the fan is still going, so not sure what's going on.
