Defender door hinges milling

I’m needing some new hinges for my Defender and wondering if someone could give me a price for milling thrm up or recommend somewhere to approach? Might not be worthwhile, but I have a bit of stainless that could be used.

They are approx 20mm thick, 83mm high, 75&33mm wide.

You can buy them off the shelf, admittedly not in stainless probably. My mate has not long since replaced all his on his 110..I can ask where he got then from if you like?

I'd have thought you would be better off buying them, they are available in Stainless - not cheap, but probably a lot cheaper than getting them milled on a custom setup.

You are probably right…but the ones I have found off the shelf seem pretty expensive now so thought I’d ask the question

Just had a read at your thread. Hope you are keeping ok! £150 seems good, but £300+ is pushing it a bit

Can’t you knock the pins out of the old ones & drill them for an oversize pin? Got to be worth a try.

Yeah I can indeed so probably going to do this this week - at least to keep me going short term!

I’ve got it in my mind that you can buy pin kits for them, someone will know.

you can for the back door hinges, haven't ever seen them for front hinges

just turn the top one clock wise , and the bottom one anti clock and the slop will vanish for half a year or more . then repeat as needed .
