I've seen the damage they do to front of motors unless youre in a armoured vehicle, sod thatIts supposed to stop people deliberately hitting them

Jeff Foxworthy "Dog's will eat anything....they can't keep it down, but they'll eat anything."They make great dog food if they're too smashed up to eat yourself.
only if you want to kill your dogThey make great dog food if they're too smashed up to eat yourself.
In Alberta they used to say if see a deer, hit the deer, if you see a moose hit the ditch!I've seen the damage they do to front of motors unless youre in a armoured vehicle, sod that
Its supposed to stop people deliberately hitting them, but if you see the damage a full size red will do you'd need to be brave to hit one
They knew what they were doing back then. Now it's all 'I need to watch someone on Utube do it ' Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, nope then you'll only be as stupid as they are.I wonder how man managed some x100's of yrs ago
"Poorly"I wonder how man managed some x100's of yrs ago
I know someone who did that. They'd been out poaching but had come up blank. On the drive home they hit a deer and, wary of being 'caught in the act' gralloching it, managed to get it in the back of their car.
A few miles down the road it woke up...all they could do was watch while it destroyed the car's interior in its bid for freedom. important lesson learned.
I dare say they had a reasonable idea of when the animal died as they likely speared it there and then. Not much in the way of roadkill in 1642I wonder how man managed some x100's of yrs ago

more likely they killed what they ateHundreds of years ago, I don’t suppose they thought about meat hygiene or cooking their meat properly !
And sometimes with the lack of hygiene etc, what they ate killed them!more likely they killed what they ate
you need @Kayos to take some pictures with that new lens of hisI’ve parked it on an improvised bird table,in view from my favourite chair as we have a lot of buzzards and kites.
