Hi guys. You have all given me some advice the other day but things are still bugging me. There is loads and loads of different paint types these days.
I want a paint that does not yellow. It seems that satinwood water based paint is the in finish lately. Just I'm woried about how it will apply. I did some a while back with dulux water based stuff but has brush marks in it and the brush seemed to push it along and not apply it.
I'm putting 8 new internal doors up and want a good finish. I will prep the stuff well but I've been told by some to spray the doors and frames??? What paint would I use for this. I don't want want brush marks. I have a good HVLP spray set up.
Some have told me to do covings and ceiling in egg shell, some have told me to just use emulsion.
I plan to use dulux endurance for the walls. 20x harder than normal paint, still has a Matt finish, can be cleaned (apparently). It's two for £30 at b and q at the min. Was going to use leyland for a white Matt for the ceilings.
Main thing I'm worried about is getting a nice finish on these doors and frames. Do it once do it right (however to stinge to pay a professional)
Sorry for rambling on, I don't feel well and I'm tired. Mrs keeps banging on about getting this decorating done.
