Can dogs be powerful enough to open s hedgehog and get at the soft bits?
Ye olde wisdom used to be that (in the UK) only badgers have the unpeeling power required to get inside. Dunno if that's true though.
I had a squirrel run across in from of me on the M6 a couple of weeks ago. Midday, lots of traffic....I don’t know if the daft little bugger does it regularly or just had a depth wish that day. Some wildlife seem to have a deathwish.Had a rabbit last year. It was laid stretched out across the road, as if it wanted to be run over. I didn't, btw.
Owls, they think they're invincible. Waiting on hedgerows, & suddenly they'll launch.
Some terriers are built for it, very strong, massive teeth for a small dog, Dandies are very much a skilled hunter, a wolf in sheep's clothing without a doubt. Can dogs be powerful enough to open s hedgehog and get at the soft bits?

Except Micheal Parkinson.Pheasants are not the most stupid bird, that spot is taken by Emu's, totally unpredictable and scared of everything.
Fortunately,we don’t tend to get too many Emu’s running around here , last one was 4 years ago (genuinely ) although we have had a couple of big pythons found in Cambridgeshire latelyPheasants are not the most stupid bird, that spot is taken by Emu's, totally unpredictable and scared of everything.

My neighbour has reduced the amount of gardening he had been doing through mobility issues which has increased the number of Hedgehogs that trigger my garage CCTV.
By gardening I refer to the showering of his garden in slug pellets.
There are a couple of wood piles in corners of the garden which may be where they hide an hibernate, I havent disturbed the piles for a while.
These two were quite excitable and showed no signs of running away.

There was an Emu on the loose back in 2017 around Cambridge, 2 large pythons have been caught in the last couple of years but no one has caught a fen tiger although I believe I have seen one. I did follow a wayward turkey down a country road in the fens a few years agoCame across a Wallaby bouncing down the road a few years ago
