I’ve got a set of their flex head ratchet spanner’s, brilliant things especially for awkward places. The 17 & 19 have been hammered but the ratchet mechanism is still perfect.Hard to beat Halfords, I've thier ratchet spanners and they are well used.
Their latest 100t ratchets 1/4 1/2 and 3/8 are much improved.
Thier impact sockets are pretty decent.
I've recently bought an offset spanner set for work they are really nice
Hmm they do look very nice. They have that nice hollowed out look, thats what I like about the Gedore number 7s but I have some 1bs because they are a nice swan neck crank on the ring end which is not too thick either.i might have a little thing for the facom 440 range, they feel very nice in the hand. my only dislike about them is that the open end is a bit to thick sometimes.
the older bahco adjustables are my go to as well

I must admit that I quite often clout mine with a lump hammer to get things started. Only had a couple of flakes off them. These have got to be the strongest made. I've had 4ft lengths of pipe over my larger sizes.
Wow, they've came down in price!! That's a bargain set, I almost wish I needed some. Love the 440 spanners. Same as Mac tools tooFor what you (OP) want I can’t look past this Facom 440 set:

Teng has a nice set up to 19mm in a storage box with none missing and life time guarantee. Seen them as cheap as £32Off the back of the other thread running about the great value Lidl / Aldi spanners I’m wanting a second set purely for home use.
the set I use and take with me when working is a britool set, 6mm to 24mm and its a decent set, but there are times when my tools can be at the other end of the country and I need them on my weekend off.
So I’m looking for a decent quality set to have permanently at home, any suggestions?
Erm...never heard of them
It was recommended by someone on here, and I've found it to be a great tool. The bahco you linked to also looks good, of course!Erm...never heard of them

If you use adjustables a lot, you should try them out - Irega have been going since 1945 and since 1960 all they do is make adjustables, so they are pretty good at it.
Made in Spain and rebranded by Channellock amongst others, the MOD used to buy a lot of them.

The old swedish Bahcos were excellent quality, but I rate Irega over the newer Bahco.
TOP (Kogyo) of Japan are also supposed to be quite good, but I've not tried them myself.
