Assuming the belt lops on your trouser are big enough I can thoroughly recommend one of these. I take the end off to thread it in but it takes seconds. Very comfortable and quick and easy to use with full length adjustment. Just search for "Tactical belt" on Amazon, loads of choice with some different options and cheap as chips.

I bought a leather belt in Portugal around 1996...have worn it most days since I bought it so I'm going to stick my neck out and say Portuguese leather if you can find it. When it does eventually give up I reckon I can save the buckle and keep going with a new leather bit.

....really wish I'd bought a few at the time but you really never know with these things!

For my jeans, I would say the Wensleydale Belt Company made me a great one many years ago (30 +) at the Country Fair, still going strong and my go to belt.
For walking trousers - webbing usually.
