I want to add a dimmer switch to an Anglepoise lamp (bought new 45 years ago ) An eBay offering proved to be Chinese rubbish and got binned before I even considered fitting to the wiring as such poor quality. Anyone recommend a decent in-line dimmer switch ? Thanks.
I bought some dimmer 3 pin plugs and dimmable warm LEDs for the house lamps, been working well for months, obviously you need to be able to get to the plug easy enough to dim or it's not a good option
Look at dimmable bulbs, either controlled from an app or credit card style remote. I’ve got a few in lamps round the house. eBay cheapies and going strong. Ones never been turned off in over 4 years
